Broadway最大の祭典、トニー賞が終わりました。
今年初めてAさん&Kさんのトニー鑑賞会に混ぜていただき、
楽しく見ることができました。
ここ数年、TV見つつ、
PCつけてツイッターで一人ごと言うだけだったので(笑)
とっても楽しかったです。

Will WinがAAIPで、Should WinがFun Homeとか言われてたけど、
Fun Homeとアナウンスされた時は思わず拍手しました。
個人的にAAIPより圧倒的Fun Home派だったので良かったです。
ま、脚本もスコアもディレクションも獲って、
ここだけ獲らないとかナイか。

The Audienceが俳優で2部門獲った以外は
SR!, You Can’t Take It With You,
Wolf Holl, Skylightは1部門受賞。
結局今年は22作品ノミネートされて、9作品のみが受賞でした。
今年はオープンした作品が多かった割には賞レースは固まりましたね。
すでに終わってたり期間限定だとだいぶ不利だなーという印象。
まぁ期間限定ものは賞レース関係なく集客できる作品なんでしょうけど。
ともあれ。
受賞された皆さん、作品に関わった皆さん、おめでとうございます。
それにしても司会がつまんなかったー…。
最近はオープニングナンバーでどかん!!と盛り上がってたし、
途中の司会によるパフォも面白かったのに、
今年はなんか社内行事見てるようだった…。
NPHやヒュー様の司会に飽きたって前にいっちゃったけど、
再登板希望です…。
そして演出もひどかったですね。
オープニングの盛り上げはSR!に頼りすぎだし、
最後は10周年とはいえWhat A Night使うし、
ホストによる大きなパフォないし、
追悼のところは紅白ばりの全員集合で工夫ないし。
もうちょっとお祭り感出して欲しいなー。
