Their music, though, is almost undistinguishable and versatile to a fault. That point is repeatedly and comically made by the superb ensemble singers impersonating dinner-table groups like the Coasters and the Platters. Case in point: ”You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling,” a song full of youthful angst when Barry sings it to Cynthia, is transformed into sophisticated soul when the Righteous Brothers (Josh Davis and Kevin Duda, who also does a hilarious takedown of Neil Sedaka) get their hands on it.

Musical focuses on the life of Carole King
Thankfully, Kevin Duda‘s cameo as Neil Sedaka is brief because he neither looks nor sounds like the superb singer/songwriter. And his few chords of “Oh Carol” based on his one date with King is just awful. However, Duda does redeem himself portraying one-half of the Righteous Brothers along with Josh Davis both doing a smashing rendition of “Loving Feeling.”
アンサンブルで言及されてるのってKevinだけでした。
でもあのNeil Sedakaのシーンって、
今のアメリカンポップスってヒドイよね、っていうシーンなんだから、
あの曲awfulって言われても…(苦笑)
それにあのシーンは似てるとか似てないじゃなくて、
笑うシーンなので一瞬で良いのです。あれ以上長かったらヤだよw
なので、redeem himself言われても困るんですけど、
でもま、褒めてくれてるんですよね。
